FAQ

Here's a list of the Questions we get from weary travelers:

What is Debug Dungeon?

Debug Dungeon is a resource hub built for developers, artists, and players who love the craft behind games. We blend playful branding, game‑dev humor, and curated products with practical industry guides and job‑seeker tools. The merch is here to support the cause, right now the game industry is having an extremely cautious bounce back, and studios are back on the hiring campaign- though really tentatively- so we're trying to support dev's in their endeavor to rejoin the workforce or join for the first time.

What kind of products do you sell?

We offer a mix of game‑dev‑themed merch, accessories, and curated items designed for creatives and gamers. Our collections include mugs, shirts, themed drops, and playful gear inspired by debugging dungeon crawlers, and the behind‑the‑scenes magic of game development.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to most regions within the United States and select international locations. Availability may vary depending on the product and supplier. Shipping options will appear at checkout based on your address.

What is the Debug Dispatch?

Debug Dispatch is our blog — a mix of industry insights, job‑seeker guides, VC‑backed company breakdowns, creative career advice, and behind‑the‑scenes commentary for game developers and tech creatives. It’s designed to help you level up your career while staying entertained.

How do I evaluate a VC‑backed job posting?

Look at the company’s funding stage, runway, leadership history, product clarity, team size, and equity terms. VC‑backed roles can offer high impact and fast growth, but they also come with risk. Our Debug Dispatch guides break down how to read between the lines and spot red flags.

How do I break into the game industry with no experience?

Start by building a small, focused portfolio that shows your skills in action. Learn widely used tools (like Unreal, Blender, or Substance), contribute to small projects or game jams, and tailor your applications to junior‑friendly studios. We publish job boards and beginner‑friendly guides to help you find your first foothold.

More to come as they get asked, or as we think of things that should be added.
